This hike follows the west rim of Tusher Canyon out to a saddle overlooking Bartlett Canyon. Along the way are hours of exploring a sloping rim of salmon-colored slickrock, dramatic clifftop terrain and continuous desert views. An optional return loop through a side canyon visits an impressive natural tunnel. There's no trail and a fair amount of vertical exposure so it's best if you're comfortable with route-finding and unafraid of heights. Best done early in the morning as there's very little shade.

Highway vehicles should park at the indicated trailhead due to sandy and sometimes muddy conditions beyond the road junction.
4WD vehicles can drive south along the road and park just beyond the narrows at the beginning of the slickrock rim.
