Tomales Point

USA> Bay Area> Point Reyes>

Overview

hike4.1adv

This hike leads from Pierce Point Ranch to Tomales Point at the northern tip of the Point Reyes National Seashore. Along the way are rolling grasslands, exciting blufftop terrain, scenic cliffs, rocky coast, small islands and continuous ocean views. The landmass gradually tapers to a dramatic point overlooking Bodega Bay. There's a good chance of seeing wildlife including tule elk, vultures, pelicans and cormorants. It's best to bring layers as the area is often windy and the weather can change quickly.
