This rewarding hike wanders through the Fisher Towers. You'll enjoy interesting terrain, colorful geology, convoluted erosional forms, valley views and possibly rock climbers defying gravity far above. The highlight is looking up from the base of the improbably tall towers soaring up like gothic red skyscrapers. The towers can be tricky to photograph from up close, especially when backlit by morning sun. Consider hiking to the south end of the trail in late afternoon for better perspective and light.
