Sovereign Trails

USA> Moab> Moab North>

Overview

hike3.5adv

Ride a pair of long, interesting single track mountain bike trails that run north-south through pretty foothills with small canyons, stretches of slickrock, meadows and occasional mountain views. The route as indicated follows a portion of the mostly intermediate Sovereign trail and takes advantage of several junctions to avoid the most technical parts. Alternatively, you could take different routes through the trail network to adjust the length and difficulty of the ride.

Willow Springs Road is usually suitable for highway vehicles all the way to the Sovereign trailhead but may be sandy, especially where it crosses a wash. Use your judgment and park closer to the highway if necessary.
