Mount Carrigain

USA> White Mountains>

Overview

hike3.0adv

Some people say Mount Carrigain has the best view in the White Mountains due to its height and relative isolation. The Signal Ridge Trail involves a fair amount of elevation gain but is graded so the effort isn’t too grueling. The mountain is thickly wooded so views are limited until just before the summit. At the top, an observation platform offers fantastic 360 degree views over the surrounding area including Mt Washington. Black flies and mosquitoes can be a nuisance, especially in May and June.
