Overview

hike3.0adv

This hike climbs to the summit of Eureka Peak from the Black Rock Nature Center in Joshua Tree National Park. Along the way are colorful foothills, Joshua trees, yucca and cactus, small canyons, sandy washes and single track trails. The broad summit area offers panoramic views over the Coachella Valley and surrounding mountains. A network of trails allows for shorter or longer hikes as desired. A jeep road reaches the summit from the south but there are few drivers to spoil your sense of accomplishment.
