Waipi'o Valley

USA> Hawaii> Big Island>

Overview

hike3.5int

This hike takes you down, across and back up the other side of beautiful Waipi'o Valley on the northeastern Kohala coast. You're rewarded with sweeping valley views, dramatic sea cliffs, a walk along a beautiful black sand beach and a peek at the tallest waterfall in Hawaii. The price you pay is a couple of grueling climbs, but the overall experience makes it all worthwhile.
