Cirque Peak

Overview

hike4.0adv

This hike climbs from Bow Lake to the summit of Cirque Peak in Banff National Park. Along the way are singletrack trails, gentle climbs, conifer forest, meadows, wildflowers, lakes, marmots, steep grueling climbs, a scree cone and some beginner scrambling. The double summit offers 360 degree views of the surrounding mountains, valleys and glaciers. Altitude and steep terrain make for an athletically challenging climb but the views and sense of accomplishment are exhilarating. Go early to avoid the crowds.
