Sulphur Ridge

Canada> Jasper>

Overview

hike3.0int

This hike climbs from Miette Hot Springs to the summit of Sulphur Ridge in Jasper National Park. Along the way are a paved road, conifer forest, singletrack trail, switchbacks, an open saddle with a bench and a final steep climb to the top. The summit offers panoramic views of the surrounding peaks, ridges, cliffs and valleys. The first half of the hike isn't special but the views from the top are worth the effort. Lower elevation and a partially shaded route make for only moderate UV exposure.
