Honoka'ope Kapalaoa

USA> Hawaii> Big Island>

Overview

hike3.0int

This hike has a lot of variety. There's a small black sand beach, a large popular golden sand beach and a seldom visited wild beach backed by mangrove trees. Along the way are lava fields, lush coral shoreline trails and the manicured grounds of the Hilton Waikoloa Resort. There's a good chance of seeing sea turtles and you'll probably see captive dolphins as you walk through the resort.
