This short, easy hike offers huge panoramic views in exchange for little effort. You start off on a cement walkway and are almost immediately rewarded with a breathtaking viewpoint overlooking the eastern White Rim, Monument Basin and the Colorado River Basin. A well maintained dirt path marked by cairns then leads out to Grand Viewpoint at the southern tip of the Island in the Sky mesa, offering views of the western White Rim and Green River Basin.
