Wa'ahila Ridge

USA> Hawaii> Oahu>

Overview

hike3.6int

This hike takes you up the Wa'ahila Ridge Trail to Mt Olympus at the Ko'olau Summit. Along the way are a variety of lush vegetation, high points with sweeping views and open sections that give you a feel for the dramatic narrow ridge you're climbing. The Ko'olau Summit and Mt Olympus provide panoramic views of both the windward and leeward sides of the island. Overall, the route offers all the rewards of a typical Ko'olau ridge climb but involves less distance, difficulty and danger than most.
