Ben More

Scotland>

Overview

hike3.0adv

This hike climbs from Loch na Keal to the summit of Ben More, the highest point on the Isle of Mull. Along the way are grassy slopes, ferns, a gully with flowing stream, and a dramatic scree cone at the top. Depending on the weather, the summit offers panoramic views over nearby lochs, peaks and islands. The trail is lightly traveled but mostly easy to follow. There's no shade so use protection on sunny days. Be prepared for the region's famously variable weather.
