Manana Ridge

USA> Hawaii> Oahu>

Overview

hike3.3adv

This challenging hike follows the Manana Trail up a long ridge to the Ko'olau Summit. Along the way are dryland and rain forest, open sections with side views, dramatic terrain and panoramic views of the windward coast from the top. The trail conditions start off fairly easy, get tougher in the middle and then become quite challenging towards the summit. It's best to get an early start, bring plenty of food and water and wear long pants to protect against scratchy plants.
