Kamanaiki

USA> Hawaii> Oahu>

Overview

hike3.5int

This short, interesting hike climbs partway up the ridge between Kalihi and Kamanaiki Valleys. Along the way are steep ups and downs, dramatic narrow spots, open stretches with big valley views and a wide variety of plant ecosystems. The upper section of the trail tends to be overgrown with scratchy ferns so it's best to wear long pants. The trail ends at a high point with good views of upper Kalihi Valley.
