This hike follows the Wailea shoreline. Along the way are beautiful beaches, resorts, palm trees, manicured lawns, luxury homes, paved shoreline walkways, rock outcrops and patches of naupaka. You'll enjoy hours of walking in the sand at waterline with frequent views across the water to Kaho'olawe, Lanai and the West Maui mountains. Go early as the route tends to get hot and crowded by mid morning. On the plus side, you don't have to carry much food or water as supplies can be purchased along the way.
