Porcupine Rim

USA> Moab> Colorado Upriver>

Overview

hike2.5adv

This hike climbs the lower end of the popular Porcupine Rim mountain bike trail. Along the way are dramatic views of the Colorado River gorge, red cliffs, several smaller side canyons and distant views of surrounding areas. You can adjust the length of this hike by turning around sooner or continuing further. The Porcupine Rim trail climbs gradually and is well-maintained for easy going in all but a few rough spots. A downside is having to step out of the way for frequent mountain bike traffic.
