This hike follows the Kortum Trail from Duncan's Cove to Goat Rock. Along the way are coves, rocky coast, ice plant, beautiful Wrights Beach, meadows, wildflowers, boulders and long stretches of blufftop ocean views. The trail is well maintained and signed for easy going. You'll probably see other hikers along the way, especially on weekends. The Kortum Trail ends at an overlook about 0.5 mi (0.8 km) south of Goat Rock, you can walk the rest of the way on the access road.
