Ha Ling Peak

Canada> Banff>

Overview

hike3.0int

This hike climbs from Spray Valley to the summit of Ha Ling Peak just outside Banff National Park. Along the way are a bridge over a canal, singletrack trail, conifer forest, switchbacks, steep climbs and some minor scrambling just below the top. The dramatic summit offers sweeping views over Canmore, the Bow Valley and surrounding peaks. This trail is popular so it's best to go early to beat the crowds. Impressive views and a good solid workout make up for natural scenery somewhat marred by development.
