Bolinas Ridge

USA> Bay Area> Marin County>

Overview

hike3.0adv

This hike follows the Bolinas Ridge Trail from north to south. Along the way are grassy foothills, domestic cattle, pleasant conifer forest and a stretch of chaparral. You start with views of Olema Valley and end up overlooking the coast. The trail is a lightly groomed fire road, making for easy going. You'll probably see mountain bikers but they're easy to see and there's plenty of room to pass. You can hike the entire length one-way with a vehicle shuttle, or go partway out-and-back from either end.
