Bogert Murray

USA> Palm Springs> Desert Cities>

Overview

hike3.5int

This satisfying hike climbs to the summit of Murray Hill, the peak dominating the hills between Palm Springs and Cathedral City. Along the way are a network of well maintained trails, a couple strenuous climbs, scattered desert scrub and two exciting ridge sections with good views over the surrounding canyons. The summit provides a sweeping panorama encompassing the San Jacinto Mountains and Coachella Valley. There's no shade so early mornings or late afternoons are best.
