Overview

hike3.0adv

This hike follows the Pacific Crest Trail from Snow Creek Road up the northern flank of the San Jacinto Mountains. Along the way are a paved access road, a steady climb on the graded PCT and desert scrub transitioning to deciduous shrubs. There are good views of high summits looming above, the surrounding canyons below and the San Gorgonio Mountains to the north. The trail climbs further than most people can go in a day hike, so we suggest climbing for 2-3 hours then turning back when you're satisfied.
