Mill Creek - South Fork

USA> Moab> Moab Valley>

Overview

hike3.8int

This hike follows the south fork of Mill Creek from Powerhouse Lane to a petroglyph panel near the Steelbender Safari Route. Along the way are a beautiful canyon, beige-orange sandstone cliffs, lush greenery, year-round flowing water, crayfish pools and swimming holes. You can either walk in the flowing streambed or on intermittent trails along the banks. The cool water, tree shade and swimming holes make for a pleasant hike on hot summer days.
