Turquoise Lakes

USA> Colorado Rockies>

Overview

hike3.0adv

This hike follows Beaver Creek from the resort to Turquoise Lakes. Along the way are dirt roads, ski runs, single track trail, aspens, conifer forest, Beaver Lake, lush greenery, wildlflowers, mushrooms, muddy spots, a meadow and stream crossings over log bridges. The lakes are set in a pretty cirque at the upper end of the canyon. The route can be crowded up to Beaver Lake but few people venture further. The trail is mostly shaded and easy to follow but it's a long haul to reach Turquoise Lakes.
