This hike follows the shoreline from Kekaha Beach Park to Kokole Point. Along the way are a wide popular beach, continuous soft golden sand and views of Ni'ihau and Lehua across the ocean. You may see shorebirds, people fishing and beach tents with vehicles driven out onto the sand. Eventually the hike ends at the boundary of the US Pacific Missile Range Facility. There isn't much variety but it's pretty and makes a nice long barefoot walk along the surf. Keep an eye out for unexpectedly strong waves.
