Pu'u Pia

USA> Hawaii> Oahu>

Overview

hike3.3int

This short hike climbs to the summit of Pu'u Pia. Along the way are mixed forest, a well-maintained trail, some rocky and rooty stretches, moderate climbs, a sample of jungle vegetation and a gently narrowing ridgetop finish. A bench viewpoint at the top offers views of Manoa Valley and the surrounding Ko'olau cliffs. There isn't much to see until the top and it's not much of a workout but this hike can be good for beginners or those who like a peaceful walk in the woods.
