Olympus Konahuanui

USA> Hawaii> Oahu>

Overview

hike3.0adv

This challenging hike climbs Wa'ahila Ridge, traverses the Ko'olau Summit Trail to K2 and K1, then descends Konahuanui Ridge to Manoa Valley. The climb and descent follow maintained trails through lush jungle with frequent views. The middle section along the KST is exciting and dangerous with continuous clifftop views and hours of climbing up and down through rough, narrow, muddy and overgrown spots above steep drop-offs. Bring plenty of food and water. Navigation can be tricky so it's best to use a map.
