Pleasanton Ridge

Overview

hike3.0adv

This popular hike follows a network of trails along the crest of Pleasanton Ridge Regional Park. Along the way are groomed dirt roads, singletrack trails, oak trees, meadows, wildflowers, ponds and frequent views of the surrounding area. The network of trails allows for shorter or longer hikes as desired. The park is popular with hikers, mountain bikers and equestrians but it's usually not too crowded. There are many trail junctions so it's best to use GPS or bring a map.

The parking lot tends to fill up early, especially on weekends. When necessary most people park along Foothill Road just outside the park entrance.
