Laguna Rocky

USA> Bay Area> East Bay>

Overview

hike3.5adv

This hike follows the Rocky Ridge Trail from Rancho Laguna to the summit of Rocky Ridge. Along the way are small canyons, cow pastures, oak forest, occasional steep climbs, meadows, wildflowers, lizards, rocky outcrops and Buckhorn Creek. Rocky Ridge and the approach along Callahan Road offer interesting ridgetop terrain with continuous views over the surrounding area. These trails seem less crowded than others nearby. There's not much shade so wear sun protection and bring plenty of water.
