Palomarin Wildcat

USA> Bay Area> Point Reyes>

Overview

hike3.5adv

This hike follows the Coast Trail from Palomarin Trailhead to Alamere Falls, then follows Wildcat Beach out to Millers Point. Along the way are groomed trails, mixed forest, lakes, waterfalls, some beginner scrambling, seagulls, buzzards, sea lions, a sea cave and blufftop views of the Point Reyes National Seashore. The highlight is hours of walking along beautiful Wildcat Beach at the base of contorted beige cliffs. The first part of the hike is popular and can get very crowded, especially on weekends.
