Behind The Rocks

USA> Moab> Moab Valley>

Overview

hike3.8adv

This hike climbs through Hidden Valley then explores the east edge of the Behind the Rocks wilderness. The first part follows a singletrack trail, climbing switchbacks up a rough boulder slope then strolling pleasantly through a beautiful meadow beneath colorful cliffs. The second part is an off-trail adventure, route-finding past obstacles up a small wild canyon to its upper end with dramatic views over Moab Valley. Please use caution to leave no trace in the pristine wilderness of Behind the Rocks.
