San Bruno Mountain

USA> Bay Area> Peninsula>

Overview

hike3.9adv

This hike follows the entire crest of San Bruno Mountain with a side loop into Guadalupe Canyon. Along the way are a small forested gully, steep climbs, fire roads, a long rolling ridge, utility and antenna towers, single track trails, and a quiet canyon lined with green scrub. The highlight is hours of open ridge top with panoramic views of San Francisco, the Bay and peninsula cities. You'll be amazed there's so much open space so close to the City. There's very little shade so wear sun protection.
