Redwood Loop

USA> Bay Area> East Bay>

Overview

hike3.8int

This hike loops around Redwood Regional Park. You start off with an easy walk along the creek then climb steeply to a ridge top. Next you loop around the West Ridge and East Ridge trails before finally descending back to the valley floor. There are occasional views but the highlight is mixed forest with lots of redwood trees. The route is largely shaded and groomed for easy walking. Keep an eye out for frequent runners and passing mountain bikes. A network of trails allows for shorter hikes if desired.
