This enjoyable hike loops from Limantour Beach through the forested highlands of Point Reyes National Seashore. Along the way are a long beautiful beach, shorebirds, colorful sandstone bluffs, grassy hills, a rolling climb, conifer trees, periodic views and a flat finish past an estuary marsh. The trails are well groomed and partially shaded for pleasant walking. Well-marked junctions allow for shorter or longer hikes as desired. Keep an eye out for passing horses, ticks and abundant poison oak.
