Overview

hike3.9adv

This hike climbs White Hill and Pine Mountain, two summits in Marin County's Open Space Preserves. Along the way are grassy hills, fire roads, switchback climbs, conifer and deciduous forest, open ridges, sections of singletrack, chaparral highlands and frequent views. The summits offer satisfying panoramas over the surrounding mountains and valleys. The trails are partially shaded and mostly groomed for easy walking. The route is popular with mountain bikers but not crowded. Go early to beat the heat.
