Tiburon Ridge

USA> Bay Area> Marin County>

Overview

hike3.7int

This rewarding hike traces the crest of the Tiburon Peninsula from Ring Mountain to its southern end facing Angel Island. Along the way are fire roads, steep climbs, grassy hills, oak trees, residential neighborhoods, singletrack trails and a waterfront finish. The highlight is hours of open ridge top with continuous views of the North Bay. Most of the route follows official trails and streets but a short stretch of Hacienda Drive must be detoured via an unsanctioned bypass. Use your judgment.
