San Jacinto from Snow Creek

Overview

hike4.5exp

This epic hike climbs the PCT from Snow Creek to the summit of Mt San Jacinto. You start off switchbacking up broad slopes through desert scrub and transition to climbing ridges and bowls in conifer forest. There are great views along the way and a fantastic 360 degree panorama from the popular summit. Distance, elevation gain and altitude make for a physically demanding route. Very fit hikers may be able to do the whole thing in 12-16 hours but most should plan on camping overnight near Fuller Ridge.
