Bream Head

New Zealand>

Overview

hike4.0int

This hike loops over Bream Head via Ocean Beach and the Peach Cove Track. You start off on a paved road then walk at waterline along a beautiful beach. Next you climb steeply up a grassy ridge and through forest to an exciting summit with spectacular 360 degree views. Finally you descend through forest to close the loop. This hike packs a lot of features into a relatively short distance. Some scrambling is required just below the summit - it can be a little scary but it's not too bad if you're careful.
