This hike follows jeep roads along the southern end of the Moab Rim to Tukuhnikivista Arch. The roads climb gently past scrub meadows, slickrock benches and sandstone domes. Continue straight (northwest) at two road junctions, then pass impressive Moab Rim Arch on the left. When the road ends, follow a faint singletrack trail marked by cairns up a steep gully to your ridgetop destination. Tukuhnikivista Arch is so-named because it frames a view of Mt Tukuhnikivatz in the La Sal Mountains to the east.

Normal vehicles can park at the first fork in the graded dirt road. The hike begins by walking north along the right fork, which leads most of the way to Tukuhnikivista Arch.
Off-road vehicles can optionally continue driving along the right fork. This can shorten the hike by up to 90% depending how far you drive.
