This hike explores the coast from Waddell Creek Beach to Greyhound Rock. Along the way you'll pass a wide sand beach, a river mouth, beige sandstone cliffs and occasional rocky outcrops. The highlight is hours of walking at waterline with shorebirds overhead. Check the tides as some spots may be impassable at high water. There are trailheads at both ends so it's possible to loop back via the highway if needed. At low tide you can climb onto Greyhound Rock if you're OK with some vertical exposure.
