Davenport Coast

USA> Bay Area> Peninsula>

Overview

hike4.3int

This hike explores the coast from Davenport south into Coast Dairies State Park. It's a pleasant walk along bluff top trails punctuated by side trips down to beautiful coves with cliffs, tunnels, beaches, sea arches, tide pools and islands. You'll enjoy coast views, shorebirds, the Davenport Pier, Shark Fin Cove and Seven Mile Beach. Most of the coves are easily accessed but a few require careful scrambling with vertical exposure. Use your judgment and bypass coves if you don't feel comfortable.
