Agate Bolinas

USA> Bay Area> Marin County>

Overview

hike2.0adv

This rough hike explores the coast from Agate Beach Park to Bolinas. Along the way are rocky cliffs, tide pools, reefs, coast views, shorebirds, beaches, a lagoon inlet, downtown Bolinas and an easy return through a residential neighborhood. Working your way along the wild, rarely visited shoreline offers a satisfying sense of adventure. Unfortunately progress can be difficult, unpleasant and dangerous due to landslides, fallen trees and smelly seaweed. Go at low tide and keep a close eye on the waves.
