Mission Peak from Milpitas

Overview

hike3.5adv

This hike climbs Mission Peak from Ed R. Levin County Park in Milpitas. Along the way are picnic grounds, small lakes, broad meadows, dirt roads, rolling hills, small canyons, steep climbs, grassy flanks, open hilltops, antenna towers, hang gliders and frequent South Bay views. Mission Peak summit is often crowded but the rest of the route is usually quiet. Side spurs lead to Monument Peak and Mt Allison. The last few hundred feet up to Allison's summit are technically private property. Use your judgment.
