Overview

hike4.2adv

This hike loops through beautiful Round Valley Regional Preserve. You'll enjoy streams, bridges, small canyons, grassy flanks, oak forest, broad valleys, wide meadows, grazing cattle and a rock-studded hilltop with views. Optional spurs and side loops along the network of dirt roads and singletrack trails allow for shorter hikes if desired. The preserve can get unpleasantly muddy during the rainy season or hot during the summer. It's best to visit in spring while the area is still lush and green.
