USA> Bay Area> Peninsula>

Overview

hike4.0adv

This hike explores the coast portion of Wilder Ranch State Park. You'll enjoy hours of beautiful blufftop trails winding past salt marshes, colorful cliffs, rocky outcrops, crashing surf, charming coves, beige beaches, tide pools, shorebirds and continuous ocean views. You can access the shoreline at many spots, some requiring scrambling. You can park to the south at historic Wilder Ranch or further north near 4 Mile Beach. Watch out for poison oak along the trails and for strong waves along the shoreline.
