This short hike climbs foothills above Waikane to a viewpoint called Pride Rock. You start off in jungle, then switchback steeply through dryland forest to a ridgetop. A short climb along the ridge leads to a rocky outcrop with panoramic views of Kaneohe Bay and the surrounding mountains. The lower trail is a bit vague - if in doubt head generally uphill and keep to the right of the red eroded area. From the Rock you can optionally continue up the narrow ridge to a high point with views of Pu'u Ohulehule.

Park on Haupoa St near the intersection with Kam Highway. Park with your wheels off the pavement a courteous distance away from driveways, swinging gates and the bake shop at the corner.
Be respectful of residents, walking quietly into the woods at the end of the street.
