San Bruno Mountain from South San Francisco

Overview

hike3.5adv

This hike loops over the summit of San Bruno Mountain from South San Francisco. You'll enjoy open ridge tops, continuous City and Bay views, a satisfying summit, grassy ravines and an up-close look at the Bay Area's version of the Hollywood sign. The initial climb up to the ridge top is quite steep but fortunately fairly short. You may notice noise from the nearby freeway but this mostly fades away as you head west. For a longer hike, continue past the summit on the Park's single track trail network.
