This hike loops through Hidden Palms Oasis. It's a pleasant stroll through open desert on sandy trails and gently sloping dirt roads. You'll enjoy easy aerobic walking, subtly-hued desert terrain, scattered cacti and occasional views of Thousand Palms Canyon and the Coachella Valley. The highlight is crossing through beautiful Hidden Palms oasis with its satisfying grove of California Fan Palms. For a longer hike, consider extending your loop to include the Horseshoe Palms and Pushawalla Palms trails.
