This hike follows the Pipe Dream bike trail along the west flank of Moab Valley. You start near downtown and work your way along a single track trail negotiating many twists and turns and small ups and downs. Eventually you reach the Hidden Valley trailhead. The trail is well maintained, making for a satisfying workout. You'll enjoy colorful terrain and frequent valley views. The nearby highway is always audible but not obnoxious. You can make it a loop by returning along a dirt road paralleling the trail.
