Kane Creek Canyon - Lower

USA> Moab> Colorado Left Bank>

Overview

hike3.0adv

This hike follows the lower half of Kane Creek Canyon OHV Trail up to the confluence with Hatch Wash. You walk along a mostly-smooth jeep road with several ups and downs, rough spots and stream crossings. You'll enjoy frequent views down the long beautiful canyon, dramatic red cliffs and lush greenery. The mostly easy trail conditions allow for a long, fast aerobic walk. Be prepared to share the road with passing vehicles. When the stream is flowing you may have to walk in water and fight off horseflies.
